   About us!

We seek world wide friendship by visiting in the homes of club members in many countries, temporarily becoming part of the family and consequently life-long friends.    We see the country through the eyes and traditions of our hosts.  We say "faces not places" rather than travel as tourists.   We invite you to browse through the pages and to attend meetings which are held at 6:30 pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and December) at the Veteran's Hall on Mount Vernon.   The Friendship Force of Kern County is just one of more than 350 clubs in 56 countries. Most of the Kern County members live in or around Bakersfield.  This is the symbol for Friendship Force worldwide.  Click the image to learn more about us.
