The Friendship Force of Kern County publishes a monthly newsletter, usually available by the middle of the month, with current information about meetings, exchanges, members, programs and news. These Newsletters are a good way to keep up with the club activities and announcements. The most recent, and a few past newsletters, are available on this page.

Emad Meerza, the president of the Islamic Shoura council, will speak on the Islamic culture in our community. Late Monday evening August 8, 25 ambassadors from Germany, Japan and Ukraine will arrive in Kern County.

President Steve McCalley opens the News Letter with "We are quickly moving in to one of the best times in Kern County as spring arrives. I am always amazed at the feeling of optimism that comes with the sprouting of new growth, flowers and warmer weather. As our energy begins to increase with longer days it is time to focus on our upcoming exchanges and activities." Includes details of April meeting of the Friendship Force of Kern County and upcoming events.
